The most reproducible SNCA-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Dopamine uptake involved in synaptic transmission, Negative regulation of neurotransmitter uptake, and Negative regulation of serotonin uptake. Each is linked with SNCA in more than 19 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SNCA-to-partner and partner-to-SNCA results are reported.
