Across TCGA cell cohorts, SMPD3 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 3,652 significant associations in total. LUNG_SCLC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SMPD3-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Regulation of myoblast fusion, Regulation of syncytium formation by plasma membrane fusion, and Co-transcriptional RNA 3'-end processing, cleavage and polyadenylation pathway. Each is linked with SMPD3 in more than 12 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SMPD3-to-partner and partner-to-SMPD3 results are reported.
