Cross-omicsPROTEIN-MS → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts
Across TCGA patient cohorts, SMOX protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 1,196 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible SMOX-associated genes across cancer lineages are VASH1, CCT5P1, and CRYM. Each is linked with SMOX in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SMOX-to-partner and partner-to-SMOX results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, SMOX versus VASH1 in HNSC, with a Pearson correlation of -0.62.
protein abundance associated genes by consensus
Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (SMOX→partner) and Y-score (partner→SMOX) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
