SMC4

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNACell-linePairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA cell cohorts, SMC4 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 306 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SMC4-associated genes across cancer lineages are DNAJC5B, RNASE8, and ZNRF4. Each is linked with SMC4 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SMC4-to-partner and partner-to-SMC4 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, DNAJC5B grouped by SMC4-low versus SMC4-high in URINARY_TRACT.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (SMC4→partner) and Y-score (partner→SMC4) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
