Across TCGA cell cohorts, SMAD7 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 4,527 significant associations in total. BONE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SMAD7-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Negative regulation of chondrocyte proliferation, Regulation of T-helper 17 cell differentiation, and Cardiac chamber morphogenesis. Each is linked with SMAD7 in more than 15 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SMAD7-to-partner and partner-to-SMAD7 results are reported.
