Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNACell-linePairwise association · TCGA cohorts
Across TCGA cell cohorts, SMAD5 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 4 significant associations in total. SKIN shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible SMAD5-associated genes across cancer lineages are GJD2, OPALIN, and KRTAP5-4. Each is linked with SMAD5 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SMAD5-to-partner and partner-to-SMAD5 results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, GJD2 grouped by SMAD5-low versus SMAD5-high in BLOOD_Lymphoma.
mutation associated genes by consensus
Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (SMAD5→partner) and Y-score (partner→SMAD5) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
