Across TCGA cell cohorts, SLC1A4 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 3,260 significant associations in total. SKIN shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SLC1A4-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are L-cystine transport, Proline transmembrane transport, and L-glutamate import across plasma membrane. Each is linked with SLC1A4 in more than 13 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SLC1A4-to-partner and partner-to-SLC1A4 results are reported.
