Across TCGA patient cohorts, SHARPIN mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 59 significant associations in total. BLCA shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible SHARPIN-associated genes across cancer lineages are RNA5SP146, MIR920, and STAU2P1. Each is linked with SHARPIN in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SHARPIN-to-partner and partner-to-SHARPIN results are reported.
