Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SEC22B2P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of SEC22B2P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where SEC22B2P RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types SEC22B2P is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as BRCA and LUAD show the opposite, repressed pattern.
BRCA, KICH, and LUAD are the cancer types where SEC22B2P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
