Across TCGA patient cohorts, SCIN mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3,401 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SCIN-associated genes across cancer lineages are CHEK1, DONSON, and LZIC. Each is linked with SCIN in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SCIN-to-partner and partner-to-SCIN results are reported.
