Across TCGA patient cohorts, SCAI mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 1,387 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SCAI-associated genes across cancer lineages are RNU6-497P, VDAC1P12, and RNU6-633P. Each is linked with SCAI in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SCAI-to-partner and partner-to-SCAI results are reported.
