Across TCGA patient cohorts, SARS1 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 39 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SARS1-associated genes across cancer lineages are 14-3-3_beta, eEF2, and EGFR_pY1068. Each is linked with SARS1 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SARS1-to-partner and partner-to-SARS1 results are reported.
