Across TCGA cell cohorts, S100A1 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 4,267 significant associations in total. SKIN shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible S100A1-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Positive regulation of striated muscle contraction, Positive regulation of ceramide biosynthetic process, and Positive regulation of sphingolipid biosynthetic process. Each is linked with S100A1 in more than 10 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both S100A1-to-partner and partner-to-S100A1 results are reported.
