Across TCGA patient cohorts, RPS5 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 14,475 significant associations in total. HNSC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible RPS5-associated genes across cancer lineages are SHE, KLHDC1, and FHL5. Each is linked with RPS5 in more than 8 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both RPS5-to-partner and partner-to-RPS5 results are reported.
