Across TCGA patient cohorts, RPL7 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 19,648 significant associations in total. HNSC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible RPL7-associated genes across cancer lineages are CRY2, KLHDC1, and SEPTIN4. Each is linked with RPL7 in more than 7 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both RPL7-to-partner and partner-to-RPL7 results are reported.
