Across TCGA patient cohorts, RPL28 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 15,327 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible RPL28-associated genes across cancer lineages are DMTF1, RENBP, and RNF146. Each is linked with RPL28 in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both RPL28-to-partner and partner-to-RPL28 results are reported.
