Across TCGA patient cohorts, RPL28 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 424 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible RPL28-associated genes across cancer lineages are RNU6-1274P, MIR8053, and MIR629. Each is linked with RPL28 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both RPL28-to-partner and partner-to-RPL28 results are reported.
