RNU4-21P

associated omics data
RNA, U4 small nuclear 21, pseudogeneGenealiases: []

Q-omics provides the consensus-scored RNU4-21P profile across patient tissues and cancer cell-line models. RNU4-21P expression is associated with patient survival in 15 of 34 cancer types, with the highest sampling consensus in LIHC. Among the 18 cancer types available for tumor–normal comparison, RNU4-21P is differentially expressed in 12, with the highest sampling consensus in THCA. Additionally, RNU4-21P RNA expression shows 8,564 significant gene co-expression associations, with the highest sampling consensus in UVM. Together, these results highlight LIHC, THCA, and UVM as cancer lineages where RNU4-21P shows reproducible signals across survival, tumor–normal expression, and patient cross-omics analyses.

Every result is evaluated using two consensus scores. Sampling consensus measures how consistently a finding is reproduced within a cancer lineage across different conditions. Lineage consensus measures how broadly the result is shared across cancer types, distinguishing pan-cancer signals from lineage-specific patterns.

Survival associations

This table summarizes RNU4-21P survival associations across molecular data types. RNU4-21P RNA expression shows survival associations in the most cancer types (15). The rightmost column indicates the cancer type with the highest sampling consensus for each molecular layer.

This table ranks reproducible RNU4-21P RNA expression–survival associations across cancer types. High RNU4-21P expression shows unfavorable associations in LIHC, MESO, UCS and UVM, but favorable associations in BRCA and READ. The LIHC Kaplan–Meier curve shows clear separation, with the high-expression group declining faster, consistent with the unfavorable association (log-rank p = .004). Together, the overview and detailed table identify LIHC as the clearest survival context for RNU4-21P RNA expression.

This table ranks reproducible tumor–normal expression differences for RNU4-21P. A negative fold-change indicates higher expression in normal tissue than in tumor tissue. RNU4-21P shows lower tumor expression in THCA and KICH and higher tumor expression in STAD, READ, BLCA and BRCA. The THCA box plot shows higher RNU4-21P RNA expression in normal versus tumor tissue (log2 FC = −0.375, t-test p < 0.001).
