Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNU11-4P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 2 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RNU11-4P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where RNU11-4P RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RNU11-4P is over-expressed in tumor.
STAD and BRCA are the cancer types where RNU11-4P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
