RNU11-2P

Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNU11-2P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RNU11-2P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where RNU11-2P RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RNU11-2P is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA and LUSC show the opposite, repressed pattern.

STAD, THCA, and LUSC are the cancer types where RNU11-2P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
