Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RGN mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RGN data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher RGN mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RGN expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and PDAC show a favorable association.

CCRCC, UCEC, and PDAC are the cancer types where RGN mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
