Across TCGA cell cohorts, RET mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 150 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible RET-associated genes across cancer lineages are ACSM6, MUC17, and VAPA. Each is linked with RET in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both RET-to-partner and partner-to-RET results are reported.
