Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RET RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RET data layer compared with 9 for mutation status and 1 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher RET RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RET expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as THCA and READ show a favorable association.

UCEC, KIRC, and ACC are the cancer types where RET RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
