RBMY2FP

associated omics data
RNA binding motif protein Y-linked family 2 member F, pseudogeneGenealiases: []

Q-omics provides the consensus-scored RBMY2FP profile across patient tissues and cancer cell-line models. RBMY2FP expression is associated with patient survival in 12 of 34 cancer types, with the highest sampling consensus in COAD. Among the 18 cancer types available for tumor–normal comparison, RBMY2FP is differentially expressed in 2, with the highest sampling consensus in LUSC. Additionally, RBMY2FP RNA expression shows 5,451 significant pathway-activity associations, with the highest sampling consensus in STAD. Together, these results highlight COAD, LUSC, and STAD as cancer lineages where RBMY2FP shows reproducible signals across survival, tumor–normal expression, and patient cross-omics analyses.

Every result is evaluated using two consensus scores. Sampling consensus measures how consistently a finding is reproduced within a cancer lineage across different conditions. Lineage consensus measures how broadly the result is shared across cancer types, distinguishing pan-cancer signals from lineage-specific patterns.

Survival associations

This table summarizes RBMY2FP survival associations across molecular data types. RBMY2FP RNA expression shows survival associations in the most cancer types (12), followed by mutation status (1). The rightmost column indicates the cancer type with the highest sampling consensus for each molecular layer.

This table ranks reproducible RBMY2FP RNA expression–survival associations across cancer types. High RBMY2FP expression shows unfavorable associations in COAD, KICH, LUSC, HNSC and UCEC, but favorable associations in STAD. The COAD Kaplan–Meier curve shows clear separation, with the high-expression group declining faster, consistent with the unfavorable association (log-rank p < 0.001). Together, the overview and detailed table identify COAD as the clearest survival context for RBMY2FP RNA expression.

Tumor vs Normal expression

This table summarizes RBMY2FP tumor–normal expression differences by data type. RNA shows broader differences across cancer types, with a lineage consensus of 2. The strongest signals are observed in LUSC for RNA.

This table ranks reproducible tumor–normal expression differences for RBMY2FP. A negative fold-change indicates higher expression in normal tissue than in tumor tissue. RBMY2FP shows lower tumor expression in LUSC and higher tumor expression in LIHC. The LUSC box plot shows higher RBMY2FP RNA expression in normal versus tumor tissue (log2 FC = −0.047, t-test p < 0.001).

Cross-omics associations

This table shows molecular features associated with RBMY2FP in patient tissues and cancer cell lines. In patient samples, RBMY2FP shows the broadest associations at the RNA and protein expression levels, with STAD recurring as the lineage with the largest associated feature set. In cancer cell lines, RBMY2FP RNA and mutation anchors are most strongly linked to RNA-expression features, especially in BONE, while CRISPR and shRNA rows add functional-dependency signals in KIDNEY.
