Across TCGA patient cohorts, PYGB mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 46 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible PYGB-associated genes across cancer lineages are GAPDH, C-Raf, and eEF2. Each is linked with PYGB in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PYGB-to-partner and partner-to-PYGB results are reported.
