Across TCGA patient cohorts, PTPRU mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 8,091 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PTPRU-associated genes across cancer lineages are SHROOM4, DCK, and ENO1. Each is linked with PTPRU in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PTPRU-to-partner and partner-to-PTPRU results are reported.
