Across TCGA patient cohorts, PRX protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3,618 significant associations in total. HNSC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PRX-associated genes across cancer lineages are TNNC1, LYVE1, and ANKRD1. Each is linked with PRX in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PRX-to-partner and partner-to-PRX results are reported.
