POLR2A

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNACell-linePairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA cell cohorts, POLR2A mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 1,407 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible POLR2A-associated genes across cancer lineages are STYX, NISCH, and FAM149A. Each is linked with POLR2A in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both POLR2A-to-partner and partner-to-POLR2A results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, STYX grouped by POLR2A-low versus POLR2A-high in LARGE_INTESTINE.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (POLR2A→partner) and Y-score (partner→POLR2A) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
