Across TCGA patient cohorts, PNPLA8 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 4,152 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PNPLA8-associated genes across cancer lineages are RN7SKP214, RNA5SP86, and RNU2-36P. Each is linked with PNPLA8 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PNPLA8-to-partner and partner-to-PNPLA8 results are reported.
