PNMT

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, PNMT mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 414 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PNMT-associated genes across cancer lineages are RIMBP3B, MIR8082, and C9orf135-DT. Each is linked with PNMT in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PNMT-to-partner and partner-to-PNMT results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, RIMBP3B grouped by PNMT-low versus PNMT-high in UCEC.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (PNMT→partner) and Y-score (partner→PNMT) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
