Across TCGA patient cohorts, PMFBP1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 775 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PMFBP1-associated genes across cancer lineages are MAGED2, C22orf31, and CA2. Each is linked with PMFBP1 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PMFBP1-to-partner and partner-to-PMFBP1 results are reported.
