Across TCGA patient cohorts, PLTP mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 1,417 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PLTP-associated genes across cancer lineages are MIR4753, MIR4716, and MIR5008. Each is linked with PLTP in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PLTP-to-partner and partner-to-PLTP results are reported.
