Across TCGA patient cohorts, PLA2G4A protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 14,772 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PLA2G4A-associated genes across cancer lineages are PACERR, PTGS2, and FAM89A. Each is linked with PLA2G4A in more than 7 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PLA2G4A-to-partner and partner-to-PLA2G4A results are reported.
