Across TCGA patient cohorts, PIGL protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 4,007 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PIGL-associated genes across cancer lineages are MXD1, TUT7, and CYTH4. Each is linked with PIGL in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PIGL-to-partner and partner-to-PIGL results are reported.
