Across TCGA patient cohorts, PHOX2B mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 25 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PHOX2B-associated genes across cancer lineages are Annexin-1, ERK2, and ACVRL1. Each is linked with PHOX2B in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PHOX2B-to-partner and partner-to-PHOX2B results are reported.
