Across TCGA patient cohorts, PEX5L protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 4,632 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PEX5L-associated genes across cancer lineages are HS6ST3, CDC37P1, and ITM2A. Each is linked with PEX5L in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PEX5L-to-partner and partner-to-PEX5L results are reported.
