Across TCGA patient cohorts, PEX5 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 38 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PEX5-associated genes across cancer lineages are eIF4G, Rictor_pT1135, and Caspase-8. Each is linked with PEX5 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PEX5-to-partner and partner-to-PEX5 results are reported.
