Across TCGA patient cohorts, PCNA mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 446 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PCNA-associated genes across cancer lineages are SAPCD2P2, RN7SL468P, and RNA5SP213. Each is linked with PCNA in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PCNA-to-partner and partner-to-PCNA results are reported.
