Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PARP9 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PARP9 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher PARP9 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PARP9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
BLCA, LIHC, and UCEC are the cancer types where PARP9 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
