Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, OTX2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated OTX2 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher OTX2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated OTX2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, LIHC, and BLCA are the cancer types where OTX2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
