Across TCGA patient cohorts, NRGN protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 11,687 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible NRGN-associated genes across cancer lineages are MEF2C, DPYSL2, and CNRIP1. Each is linked with NRGN in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both NRGN-to-partner and partner-to-NRGN results are reported.
