Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NPTN-IT1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated NPTN-IT1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher NPTN-IT1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NPTN-IT1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ACC and BRCA show a favorable association.

LUSC, ACC, and THCA are the cancer types where NPTN-IT1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
