Across TCGA patient cohorts, NPL protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 13,454 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible NPL-associated genes across cancer lineages are TNFSF13B, CD72, and KLHL6. Each is linked with NPL in more than 8 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both NPL-to-partner and partner-to-NPL results are reported.
