Across TCGA cell cohorts, NPC2 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 4,778 significant associations in total. BONE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible NPC2-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Protein catabolic process at synapse, Protein catabolic process at postsynapse, and Protein targeting to lysosome involved in chaperone-mediated autophagy. Each is linked with NPC2 in more than 12 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both NPC2-to-partner and partner-to-NPC2 results are reported.
