NODAL

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, NODAL mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 350 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible NODAL-associated genes across cancer lineages are OR5AO1P, C14orf177, and RNU6-784P. Each is linked with NODAL in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both NODAL-to-partner and partner-to-NODAL results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, OR5AO1P grouped by NODAL-low versus NODAL-high in UCEC.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (NODAL→partner) and Y-score (partner→NODAL) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
