Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NLGN1-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 11 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated NLGN1-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where higher NLGN1-AS1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NLGN1-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as OV and LAML show a favorable association.

THCA, OV, and LUAD are the cancer types where NLGN1-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
