Across TCGA patient cohorts, NIT2 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 13,338 significant associations in total. PDAC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible NIT2-associated genes across cancer lineages are WDR5B, NEK11, and RPL24. Each is linked with NIT2 in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both NIT2-to-partner and partner-to-NIT2 results are reported.
