Across TCGA patient cohorts, NALCN protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 5,911 significant associations in total. CCRCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible NALCN-associated genes across cancer lineages are XBP1, MYH9, and CDS2. Each is linked with NALCN in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both NALCN-to-partner and partner-to-NALCN results are reported.
