MYO16-AS2

Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MYO16-AS2 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of MYO16-AS2’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in prostate adenocarcinoma (PRAD), where MYO16-AS2 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types MYO16-AS2 is over-expressed in tumor.

PRAD are the cancer types where MYO16-AS2 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
