Across TCGA patient cohorts, MXRA5 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 114 significant associations in total. COAD shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MXRA5-associated genes across cancer lineages are PCNA, 14-3-3_beta, and Cyclin-B1. Each is linked with MXRA5 in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MXRA5-to-partner and partner-to-MXRA5 results are reported.
